MOSCOW, Dec 20 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft's investment will reach 230 billion rubles in 2023, CEO Nikolai Tokarev said in an interview with told Rossiya 24 TV channel on Tuesday.

“Overall it is almost 190 billion (rubles of investment in 2022). For 2023, we have a budget of 230 billion (rubles),” he said.

Oil exports via Transneft’s system increased by 20% on the year and exports by sea rose by 25% on the year, Tokarev also said. The company accepted in the system 4.5% more oil than in January–November of 2021, he added.

Transneft plans to increase capacities for oil exports through the Baltic Sea to 52 million tonnes per year, most likely in one or two years, he said.

The company increased oil transshipment capacities in the Kozmino port by 12 million tonnes to 42 million tonnes this year, Tokarev also said.

Tokarev also said that Transneft received a request to pump oil through the Druzhba oil pipeline from Poland and Germany for 2023, despite the statements of these countries about refusing supplies.

“They announced they would not take oil from Russia as of January 1. And now we have requests from Polish consumers: "Let us have 3 million tonnes next year. And for December 360,000 tonnes.” And Germany has already applied for the first quarter,” he said.
